>>2904495to be quite honest for a tourist there aren't much aside the usual popular spots, I suggest spending your time just wandering around in the Old Quarters - be bold and go into little alleys if they fascinate you, people are generally welcoming and they really like it when they see foreigners curious about their life. also one little advice is that in the Old Quarters, keep your head up and look at the higher floors of the houses, the balconies of Hanoi are the real hidden gems of my lovely city!
