This week is chiaroscuro (as always, google is your friend). Chiaroscuro is most often thought of mainly as a strong use of shadows. This usually results in a low key, more dramatic, more moody image with the subject partially occluded in the dark. As photography is light, using where the light is not is just as powerful and important of a technique as using and shaping where the light is.
As always, go out and shoot something new. Post here, give feedback, ask questions and the like, but don't stress over the feedback portion. The point of these isn't really for us to talk about them, it's for you to go out and shoot with a purpose, to succeed or fail, and learn lessons yourself.
