But the great thing about DSLR-scanning is that you're in charge of the optical configuration, so you can project as big or as small a magnification of your film onto your sensor as you like, provided you have the lenses for it. By increasing magnification to 1:1 on the crop sensor, and stitching 4 shots together, you can get quite a lot more from a sharp frame if you want to print it wall size.
