>>2912311It is, just gotta find a good rental house and contact Kodak.
A good rental house will rent you a decent ARRI 16mm camera, and if you contact Kodak you'll get a much, much better deal than buying stock from B&H.
>>2912330They did, but it's still a problematic medium (I think they are doing it to test their cloud-based delivery system).
>>2910888I was there, but sadly didn't get to see this - I did see someone almost drop an ursa mini though (was shooting interviews :\ ).

>>2911370It does, however it depends on what video, budget, and ecosystem you're looking into.
Say, if you have a $500 budget, it's better to buy a used t2i/t3i+tripod/lenses than blowing it on a low-end camcorder.
Again, it depends on what you're doing with it, but at this point you could get a t2i for less than $300, so I'd say why the hell not.

Most people know what they are talking about technically, most of the info is 'out there'. Simon Cade knows what he's talking about too to an extent.
Remember, all methods are subject, and there are many ways to accomplish a similar task.

there are tons of decent ones out there depending on what you want to learn.
