Years ago, in what some might call the Golden Age of /p/, people actually tried to help each other. Perhaps the most helpful /p/hotog of all was the original index bro. You kids may not remember, but back in the old days, before we had this newfangled catalog system, you actually had to scroll through the pages looking for good threads. Then along came the index bro. He tirelessly scoured /p/ to find the best of the best, and then he'd pass on the knowledge to us, the huddled masses of /p/.

Well, lately, I've noticed that /p/ has been overrun with too many photo threads. What used to be a nice, friendly shopping advice board has now devolved to people taking pictures with their cameras and then trying to discuss those pictures. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be anything we can do to stop it. But I'll be damned if I won't try to help you, the rest of /p/, navigate this mess.
