I have a small bag for it, but that's only for trips when I'm not always using it and it's a place to stow it away in.
When I take a camera for hiking I definitely use my blackrapid strap.
But walking around town, carrying it is just fine. To be honest, the emasculating comment was just some light bantz, someone's always bagging on "manpurses" which is why I said that. Apparently people are really insecure about their manpurses :-)))))
