Technically, the first half suffer from poor shooting conditions, although issues of focus are there as well (1,2,4 most evidently). Almost all of them look like they're really shit scans- there's all kinds of noise going on (sky on 5, mans face in 8) that really interferes with how I see the images.
Content-wise, Man with gun and old woman with balloon are the only ones that really appear to have anything to say, although the execution isn't quite there.
