>>2932580>Build quality Really not as much difference as you want to believe, and most of the problems with build quality aren't the build quality but QA, which is massively better than it was even five years ago and isn't that big of a deal because if you're wanting to spend say $1500 (really closer to 2k when you include shit like taxes and how they're generally a bit over 500 each) and only need the three Canon speedlites that can get you, you can easily get twice that number with yongs have more lighting flexibility when you want it, and backups if you just stick to a three light setup.
>Customer service You've got a point here, but again I point to the fact that you can afford to purchase enough yongs that you can replicate your setup so you shouldn't end up having a light go out on you without having a backup which gives you plenty of time to deal with the broken light.
>TtlUmm, you can ttl with yongs.
>HssYou can HSS with yongs.
>Thermal dissipation and protectionThis is more of a lifecycle thing which again is mitigated by the price.
>Commander controlYou can do this with yongs too..
First party flashguns are AWESOME. They truly are. Do not get me wrong. That said, you should *never* pay for them yourself if they're a business thing. They're just too damn expensive when you compare them to the competition.
