>have Canon L 24-70 (series 1) lens
>never been on a shoot, always sat in a camera bag or on a desk, never dropped/etc.
>decide to sell on ebay
>take a few pics through the lens to prove it works, package it and prep for shipping immediately after.
>3 weeks after guy receives it, messages me
>tells me he used the lens on a shoot, during said shoot 2 of the ring mount screws came out and the autofocus stopped working
>doesnt want to screw them back in, wants full refund
>thinks this is a defective lens, screwing the screws back in (even with loctite) wont keep them from coming out
>i said no refunds in the auction, he starts a claim through ebay.
I just want to check, this guy is full of shit right? I googled around and what few instances of any mentionings/dealings with screws there are it seems to be a trivial issue, just tighten them and if you really want to use a teensie bit of loctite.
Do these screws coming out actually make the lens not work? There is no fucking way a lens mounted to a cam body has the space to allow not 1, but 2 screws to come out right?
