Photobooth question

Hello mates, me and my girl is starting a photobooth small business, though I'm a bit dumb with the technical part of it, so pelase correct me if I'm wrong, but is this usually how it goes?

>Monitor connected to camera via hdmi (VGA-HDMI) for live view purposes
>Camera is connected to laptop via usb for the pictures.

is this the whole concept in its simplest form?

You know, usually it bugs me when people respond with negative posts and no helpful solutions. It just seems like people getting online to be dicks just for the sake of being dicks...

But this guy is spot on. It's clear from your post that you have no idea, and are looking for the easiest way to cobble something shitty together. You and your "girl" (what, girlfriend, fiance, wife, second cousin?) are starting a small business around something you know nothing about? It sounds like you two were out having fun and stopped at a photobooth or something and just thought "Hey, why don't we do this" and did no more research than that.

Not saying that's the case mind you, saying thats how you come across.

Here is my advice: Do some real research online (not 4chan) and then look at the area your wanting to set this up in. Will there be demand to support you? Where will you set up? Will you have to pay the property owner to setup? What expenses will there be? ect.

I would almost guarantee you that if you spend the time researching all of that you will also get the answers to your question, and realize why posting the question here was foolish. Good luck.
