Definitely not. Only thing making it look slightly off is the extended life battery holder. Great cameras back in the day. First camera I spent my own money on was a Maxxum 5000 when it first came out. Memory is a bit foggy, but I think I paid 300-400 bucks for body and 50/1.7 in 1986. T'was quite a lot for a poorfag like myself.

I honestly have no idea what that lens is. The silver band does make it look like an AI-S lens, but there's other shots of it with a 50mm f/1.4 FD.

I see that now, yeah. I was looking for 50mm lenses with just "LENS" on the front, but there was a "Nikon" before that which was covered by the shadow.
