I like the colors and the texture of the image.
What's the subject of the image, to you?
If it's the lower box with writing, you could get closer to that subject - an image with the three boxes would have cool composition (splitting the image into thirds) and show the writing in a more defined way. You can also try playing with light a bit more, and take the photo when the sun gives a shadow inside the boxes. Not sure if your camera can focus that close, though.
When something strikes you about an image, ask yourself what that is, and why? Doesn't have to be a huge artistic movement, just "I like the graffiti carved into this along with the wood grain". Step 1 in composition is to get closer to your subject so you can isolate and define it further.
Secondly, bisecting the frame down the center (like many people do with landscapes and other images) is generally a bad idea for multiple reasons that I won't get into because I've got to go somewhere.
Your homework is to shoot three rolls of film solely focusing on rule of thirds and texture, and avoiding bisecting the frame down the center. Every image on those three rolls will be you either looking at the texture of something and making it the prime subject, or strictly adhering to rule of thirds. You'll thank me.
