Hi everybody i'm still new to the photo world, had some fun with my a6000 (and kit lense) few month ago, doing some street photo, but i have some blocking right now.

I would like to do some portrait/night shot at party/street and so i should bring my camera with me, but the fear to damage my camera or even lost it kinda stop me.
I recently thought about getting a cheap film camera. Might it be an alternative to my a6000 ? it will also be a start for trying old lense on the a6000 as well.

Do you guys think that would be a good idea ?
I've got hand on the ae1 program(with a 28mm lense) on a thrift shop recently, would it be a good start ? Can get it for 50e
How do you guys are dealing with having your camera always on you ? or are you guys setting yourself a moment where you will only do photo ?
