http://leicarumors.com/2016/11/11/this-is-the-leica-m10-camera.aspx/ Dedicated ISO wheel/dial on top plate
LED framelines
No movie button on top
0.72x viewfinder (up from 0.68x)
Frame selector
Raised M mount to accommodate the rumored thinner body (3.8mm thinner, think adapter collar built onto a thinner body instead of raising the entire surface area of the camera to meet the flange distance. No more fat Leicas.)
The model name will be M10, no more “Typ” reference (Leica M10 was recently registered in China)
The M10 will probably use the same M 240 battery (7.4V)
Shipping will start in Spring of 2017
24MP sensor (most likely the sensor from the Leica SL/Q)
Max ISO: 50k (just like the Leica SL and the Leica Q)
Bigger control buttons on the back
Slightly bigger LCD screen
Same EVF from the TL camera

Oh ya, this is what I was waiting for. They're going to price it sensibly right? They're not gonna fuck up and make the ISO dial the same as the shutter speed dial, right? More importantly, is it going to push the limits of X sync?

>a THIN digital Leica(!) >modern sensor noise (or lack thereof) >ISO dial finally This is basically a perfect Leica M.
With the way Leica seems to have been reorganizing and rethinking its strategy recently, it's not too crazy to expect a somewhat affordable price.too.

Rarely will you have a use for a massive image as an end result, but in the pipeline it's handy.

the Voigtlander Bessa was a great choice to base the camera on. Leica needs to understand that digital bodies are basically disposable now and don't need to be built to last for 50-100 years like the M3, M2, and MP.
If they released a FF RD2 with proper micro-lenses for wide (ie not the A7 sensor), it would be fucking awesome and a true Leica killer
