I think a bit of both. He obviously had a penchant for under developed girls, but I can see the artistry. The photos are composed well and interesting and I haven't seen anything that crosses line. Most of his subjects were relatives so he was probably the creepy uncle in his family, lol. Maplethorpe on the other hand was a straight up perv.
