>>2973943i can see the webb, some of the gruyaert too. cant see the koudelka or bresson either. yours is not an humanistic photography, you dont seem to give a single fuck about your human subjects, they arent subjects in fact, they are props, shapes and colors to fit a schema. in that way, yes you are mostly a formal minimalist.
with that said, i think you have the aesthetic part down (whether i like it or not is a different matter), but you are critically missing a subject or something relevant to say. your photos read as formal essays, but not proper photos. and at that, i think your visual language is poor, a lot of these pictures are bassically the same picture, same single loud color against grey background. not a fan of your infatuation with trash bins either (protip: they are disgusting to look at, no matter how pretty are their colors).
the stark contrast is tiresome and reveals itself sooner than later as a gimmick (see visual language part) and, since theres nothing else about the pics (ie a human story for example, as we can find in lots of webb pics) one is left with a feeling of dissapoint.
get photobooks, edit your shit harder, try a point n shoot for a while, stop "fixing" shit photos with cropping, finally ask yourself what do you want to tell with your photos and why should the rest care about it.
