Why is this photograph so bad? Besides it being taken from a smartphone camera, what makes it undesirable? I took it and I was pleased with it and I still think it looks pretty swell. I'm trying to get into photography and I want to know what I can improve.
I'm getting my D5500 in a couple weeks and I wanna get a head start on my learning.

Personally, i think the colors could be better. I probably would change some things in the contrast and RGB balance.

I also think it's too "blurry", but that's not your fault.

And, about the subject, i would frame the full pole and try another angle to catch that cool house there in the left background and centralize the plane.

But i really like the pic, OP. Specially the wires.

I honestly appreciate your response man. I'm kind of limited in how I can adjust the colors and contrast due to the garbage camera I have but I will take that into account in the future. Also with the plane I could probably try to get a better angle soon since I live near the airport. Thanks for the suggestions,

Haha it's only 1.7 mb so I didn't feel the need to. Most devices can handle that, and also I wish I was a child, then I wouldn't have to pay bills or taxes and I could waste all my money on gear.
