Sometimes I adopt a pretty big power-stance to stay steady when I take a shot, but it is usually on an incline or when it's justifiable. I've seen some wacky asian tourists pull off some yoga-esque shit tho and it makes me chuckle.

Yes, when I shoot with 1/60 or slower. I never take my tripod for street photography.

Not sure about "dramatic" stances, but being 6'2" I often have to crouch down to get a good angle, otherwise I'd end up looking down on most stuff. Cameras with a flip screen are a godsend, even if it's at least on just one axis.

But yes, there is a benefit. Full-on normies will think you´re very serious about your photography even if you´re holding a compact.
No tilty or swively screen can be annoying and sometimes striking a weird pose can be comfy even if you look like a retard.
