>>2986883>I'd suggest going digipleb for size and get yourself a premium compact taking alongside the SQ but that depends on how much you hate digishit.I don't mind digishit at all. I just want to have the option of shooting film when special situations arise. The SQ-A has gone on numerous long-term trips with me. It's just a bit slow to use and I've been getting into more fast paced shooting lately with 35mm, so I was hoping to find a medium format camera that could lead to a similar style of shooting. I also have an A7 matched with a 35mm lens.
Right now I'm considering the following options
Most bulk. I have the A7 covering low light, the SQ-A covering medium format, and the Epic covering the times I don't want to carry a camera. I typically don't like having a fuck ton of gear with me (more options doesn't mean better) so this probably won't happen.
>A7 + 35mm>Bronica SQ-A + 80mm>Stylus Epic Forego digital and go 100% film. Basically kiss low light goodbye, but I could stock on up Natura 1600 for the Epic. I've done many trips 100% film so that doesn't bother me much, but I do know the A7 would be nicely flexible.
>Bronica SQ-A + 80mm>Stylus EpicFind a more compact medium format camera and basically replace the SQ-A with it.
>????? fixed lens medium format camera>A7+ 35mm>Stylus EpicLeast bulk. Flexibility with the A7 and still able to flip through a binder of 35mm shots long after the trip (my favorite part about film).
>A7 + 35mm>Stylus EpicGuess the last option is what you're suggesting. Grab a compact digital p&s (if there's one with awesome low light capabilities, full manual controls, and is the size of the Canon S100 I'm down) and pair that with the SQ-A. Flexibility covered, medium format covered.
>Digi compact>SQ-A>Stylus Epic because it's size is negligible.
