>>2998430Yeah restrictions are real, I mean, the largest engine available for any truck of that size is the Ranger's 3.2l 5cyl diesel, and the rest just go down in size. The Hilux, for example, is available (at least in the market I am) with a 2.4 lor a 2.8l diésel engines.
Cool thing is that you get industry firsts in terms of efficiency and innovation, having said 2.8l (1GD-FTV) pushing 177Cv and 450Nm of torks at something like 1600rpm and a total 44% energetic efficiency, which is a segment record as far as I read about.
