Reduce ISO - you're at iso 1600 which is why your moon is so grainy. Drop it down to 100
Use f8 or f11 - this is to try to get the sharpest possible image from your lens. typically the max sharpness for lenses tends to be around f8. you were at f18 which reduces the sharpness of the image due to diffraction (google it) but also let less light in forcing you to crank up your ISO
Set your camera to live view and use the 10x zoom to make sure your focus is good and snapshit away
When you get the opportunity to shoot the moon again don't just take a photo with 1 setting - get snapshits with the full range of aperatures so you can blow it up on your screen and see the difference.
