I like it, composition is p interesting. If I'm going to nitpick, the cows' heads are slightly blurry which is a bit distracting imo.

hey man thanks for giving me ideas for the sky, I wasnt sure how to get detail out of it but really liked the grass section.

I am nto sure in altitude but it was Ooty, India and we were touching the clouds, very very high up

They're sharpening halos - if your cam has a sharpness setting try turning it down a little (I'm assuming these are jpegs straight out of the cam). If it doesn't we will just have to live with it.

It's kind of almost there, but not quite. Getting a Hopper's Nighthawks vibe. Perhaps you could go back there and get more shots, it looks very promising.

Anyways; haven't used my camera in months because of studies, so I picked it up yesterday and took some pictures of my kittens.

High ISO is because it was nearly twilight and I had to keep the shutter speed as fast as possible, the little fuckers can't stay still for half a second.

I hear what you guys are saying, thanks for the crit. Turns out I accidentally deleted the original photo, but I'll do what I can with what I've got. The horizon is definitely a little crooked, and it does look nicer with the car at the edge cropped out. I'm going to go out later and see if I can get better results anyways-- its at the end of my street.

I actually had Nighthawks in mind when I took this one, so I'm super glad to see someone call that out. Have one more snapshit for the road.

i never realized how difficult action photography was. it's really split second; if you have your gloves on, you don't focus in time, you have the wrong settings or pretty much anything isn't perfect, the shot is ruined. i gained a lot of respect for sports photography in just a few hours that day
