Focusing with an optical finder is ass because of the limited light the lens puts through, making split prisms useless in all but the brighest conditions. Works better adapted to a mirrorless because of EVF and the ability to adjust ISO for conditions. With film you only have the shutter speed and ND filters to control the exposure. Also, the filter diameter is 77mm which means filters will be fairly expensive. I'm not going to lie, it's a meme lens, but fun to dick around with on bright days. Not worth the money it's going for on Ebay if you ask me, I paid 20e for mine which was found in the corner of an antique shop all beaten up and forgotten. But if you really, really want a cat, I guess it's as good as any in the 100-200e category.
