I won't deny that AF is a big part but it's also only one a bunch of factors, and again, the point was simply that they're more compact regardless of the reason.
Anyway, this argument is pretty much pointless since I'm just playing devil's advocate here. I could've bought a Leica system if I'd really wanted to and I went with Fuji instead.
