Why are women so basic when it comes to photography? Or for anything else that doesn't involve taking a dick for that matter. Pic related from the shitty camera club I am part of where everyone talks about iPhone photography.

sounds cool. know why? because its a simple matter. everything else is pure photography.

the problem with "pro" photography is that there is so much to delve into (lenses, bodies, formats) that autistas tend to get entangled in such stuff and forget about taking damn photos.

normally i would give you a MRA response, but i think you should fuck off instead. that group is nice, and ur a bitter prick.

The camera they love won't take better photographs than another but they will love the photographs it takes more.

Isi got a battered xpro1 so carefully sanded it to resemble the patina of an old rangefinder. A man would have seen the scatches and dents as battle scars.

The difference is that isi probably smiled everytime she put her baby in her bag. A man would wish for better and be ashamed that the scars were from someone elses battle, not his own.

Same with you. It's not just women who are like this. I know guys who like to keep it simple, and they feel intimidated by the price/learning curve of more complicated systems.

Do you also rage at people who drive a car with an automatic transmission? People who are perfectly happy with their little Corollas/Civics/cheap, reliable econoboxes instead of expensive and complicated German luxury cars? Because you seem like the type.

I wish i could find a club like that. Every photo club Ive found just had members gearfagging and not even in a "hey, I'll teach you howbtobuse this piece of gear" sort of way.

Kek, I was talking to a friend the other day and he was telling me his girlfriend couldn't understand the concept of pushing film, so she shot some pictures at 400 iso and others at 1600. Since I'm the "free processing film guy" I developed it at 400 anyways, most pictures were snapshits over/under exposed.

I have been to two different women's apartments where they have a shelf full of amazing film cameras they find in thrift stores. Neither of them have ever taken a single photo with any of them. They use their phone.
