>>3017919I can see where you're coming from and I agree on some points.
I've only done what can be considered short projects in it up to this point, i.e. short films, ads, music videos. basically nothing that requires the amount of work a feature length film would ensue for example.
I'm wondering if when you talk about workflows you're refering to the UI layout of the program, cause it has several pre-made like for assembly, editing, color correction etc. I personally find the color correction/grading one to be a bit annoying seeing as how I still have to customize it a bit and put the scopes where I want them and have the files arranged and shit.
I also kinda hate how it handles files desu, a lot of time is wasted on sorting files and going through them and everything.
But I'm shallow and I like how premiere CC looks as opposed to final cut so my childish wants and needs overcome some of the faults I guess.
>>3017921I built a PC on the cheap but pretty much so I have it for editing.
I have: intel core i7 skylake (the not OCd one), MSI motherboard, nvidia 1070GTX 8GB RAM, 16GB DDR4 RAM (planning on going up to 32 eventually). a 1 TB HDD and a 250GB SSD for windows and all the programs.
the whole thing cost me around 1200 euros (around $1400?), and I basically started off with a gaming build knowing that the GPU will be good enough for editing and then just went for a better processor for what I want (the i7 as opposed to i5).
I also compose music in cubase on this build so it's got me covered on both ends.
