My heritage is European, so yeah, I have a lot to be proud of. My family is english and german, two of some of the greatest civilizations to have ever existed with the exception of the US.

Yes that's exactly what I'm advocating for, the really no contradiction. People who abide by democratic rules can speak, people who don't cannot. And one of the rules of democracy is that you cannot treat people differently based on their religion. So if you support a Muslim ban, for instance, you are a fascist and you should be excluded from democratic debate.

What?! Ever wondered why there is not a labor movement in the US? American communists were literally killed by Republican and Democratic governments in the early 1990s. Now, you can obviously disagree with labor movement's instances, but you cannot negate that the movement was suppressed and its leader either jailed or murdered.

Thought we were talking about the 90's here, not the 50's. Can you please show me where in the early 90's, our government was killing or jailing communists? I don't believe that happened. However, I do believe it happened in the 50's because everyone was so scared of nuclear war, in which spys were litterally selling nuclear secrets to the russians, so I would have to argue that it wasn't terribly unjustified to give the death penalty to people that could have caused millions of deaths if nuclear war ended up becoming a reality
