That's the highest apodization strength we have to this date.
The old Minolta lens was somewhere between 1-2 stops. This new lens exceeds that.
The Fuji lens is limited to just 1 stop.

This is a 100mm Full Frame portrait lens with 2 stop apodization at 1500 USD.
Guess what Fujifilm is asking for a 56mm Crop lens with half as strong apodization.....Bingo, they ask the same 1500 USD.
