>really wanted a polaroid camera
>thought they'd be super hard to find and extremely expensive
>fast forward 7 years

>pull up craigslist and type it in

>TONS of cameras, all working
>find one I like that comes with film
>only costs $40
>IknowabarginwhenIseeone.gif
>they email me back the next day, which was this morning
>emails me saying the extra film cartiges are all over 5 years old, probably wont work.
>friends and I met her at Caribou
>very large, but nice.
>''Took one of my son before I left, the edges are really yellow, but it it still works pretty good"
>"I'll give it a shot, no pun intended haha"
>Get in the car, figure it out. Put in a new cartridge and try it out
>only bottom left segment worked on them, this cartridge expired 2004
>use the rest of the cartridge taking pictures back at buddy's house
>rest of the cartridge seems to be working a bit better
>try using cartridge that expired in 2002
>all blank
>other two packs expired 2006
>put one in, got a pic of friend
>almost all of the picture is developed
>use two more, pic related
>one pic is me, one is of my dogs, camera is the one I bought, Polaroid One600
>not the best but expired 11 years ago, can't complain
I've just found out I have a love for photography, but have a lot of questions.
How do I get started? Where can I find film without going online? What film is cheapest? How do I get good pictures? It's recommended a short distance range, will it look good for long distance shots? is film actually suppose to be kept in a fridge? Is there anything else I should know about Polaroids?
