MF sensor development works at a painfully slow pace, because the market is nearly invisible.
Current gen MF cameras are not something that will be outdated in just a few years.
The Pentax sensor was developed in 2014, and according to Fujifilm, it's not until another 2-3 more years before it possibly gets updated.
We're talking about +6 year generation cycle at the minimum for these MF sensors.
That means you're going to be waiting +12 years for your Global Shutter on your MF, it it isn't incorporated the next time.
I will gladly take the Leaf shutter on the Hasselblad instead. It's a practical superior here and now solution.
