>>3041693Probably not, but with digital to get the most dynamic range you under expose/expose for the highlights and bring up the shadows in post, but this causes a lot of noise. But with film you expose for the shadows as you can over expose the highlights a lot. And then you could do some developing to bring down the highlights.
So even if they had the same dynamic range, their range is in a different location so thats why one might have more dynamic range than the other
