Just get a hasselblad medium format. You're never going to succeed with the garbage you're using. Minimum investment is around 25k.

100k shot and edited photos is the point where you go from "clueless fucking dickhead" to "he can take an average photo" so if you haven't burnt through at least 2 rabbal shutters, you're still far from good enough.

I have probably 3000 tied up in gear with a pro Nikon FX sensor. I've burned through a few rabble shutters and generally I still suck ass.

The expensive cameras are more fun to use and make it easier to get good photos, but the experienced guy with the rabble and kit lens will always shit all over the guy with a D810 who shoots nothing but flowers and cats.

Hell, I did a Traveling Camera on here a few years back and one of the participants shot on it and shit all over most work posted here, and that camera was an Olympus Stylus MJU 35mm compact I paid like 3 bucks for.

Gear is just one factor m8.

You need real connections, models to create concepts and showcase your works. Online blog and instagram shit isn't how you get professional contracts.

Also money and willingness to travel, attend events. You are never going to have an impressive portfolio shooting buildings, lone tree and dogs in your neighborhood.

It's either huge investment or incredible luck to be successful with photography.

Learning how to use a camera is only the first step. A comparison would be learning to write, proper punctuation, spelling, grammar, etc
it is all nice, but that won't make you Dostoevsky because the words are only a tool to communicate something.
