Well, you are always accompanied by at least two guides and they will usually tell you when it's alright to take photos and when you have to turn in your camera. However, since you travel with a larger group of tourists it was possible to sneak a few photos here and there without the guides noticing. Regarding the price you pay for an all-inclusive trip so that would include the tickets. All in all it would be around 1300 usd for five nights. Quite expensive but worth it I think.

Thats it for now. Have tons more but since this was basically my first time using a camera and most were taken sneakingly through a bus window they turned out pretty bad.

Only the dead ones get to be on the wall. I actually got to see their preserved bodies but before entering the mausoleum (pic related, taken with phone) all cameras were confiscated by military personnel. Unfortunately, this happened before entering most buildings.

Preschool Children drawings they clearly love penguins and shooting down planes.
Obviously the penguin thing is some kind of subliminal or symbolic figure they are pumping into the kids at an early stage either that or they just really love penguins.

These photos might not be technically perfect and the composition is off with a few of them but it's still some of the best stuff on /p/ this year imo. Telling a story and documenting a life that's so alien to most of us far outweighs to slights technical imperfections. Thanks for sharing OP

The only time i have had my photos check was when i was taking a picture of a statue and in the background was a painting of kim il sung my guide suggested that the photo should be deleted as i obscured a picture of the leader, as you can see from my images pictures of soldiers is allowed. Most of my pictures were taken when i was working as a foreign guide so i knew all my korean coworkers really well so they were pretty easy going with what i shot. Trust no matter where you are will unlock alot of doors for you.

everyone has different experiences with the guides the state issue them for the trip. for example a lot of the new recruits straight out of university seem to enforce the rules pretty strongly while the older more experianed ones are a lot more casual about what you can photograph it all comes down to luck. I've always worked with really good guides and most of them are my friends and so i can get away with a lot as you can see in this thread.
