Well the first problem is that COTA is a daylight event for IMSA. You'll have to be creative to get that to work. There's a reason most long exposure pictures are taken at night. Your best bet for long exposure is not at he corners, but the pits. Show the hustle and bustle with long exposure. Even better if you have a speedlight you can fire multiple times to freeze the frame in different places.
