>>3072250Both are famous for great engineering, design, optics, and usability. Hassy is probably the 6x6 system that's the most sleek, elegant, and lightweight. Both Hassy and Leica have expensive maintenance and repair costs. Hasselblad lenses have leaf shutters inside them, so that's extra mechanical maintenance you have to worry about with each lens you buy. And Hassy techs are becoming more scarce.
An RB will be more heavy and clunky, and is more of a tripod camera than the handholdable Hassy, but will be more durable IMO. Also everything about it is cheaper in the long run. The lenses are great, just not luxury-branded.
The 500c is one of the older Hassys around, too, so unless you know the history of the camera and lens, you'll want to budget in a CLA if you plan to use it for anything serious.
