>>3073588It really is a shame. I was in the same boat, had a t2i and t3i, kept them for like 4 years doing video work with them. But I jumped ship much earlier for the a7r, and now I also have the a6300. Canon just seems like they aren't taking it seriously anymore, or that democracy is getting in the way of implementing new tech.
With that being said, it depends on what you want to do mainly, i've heard great things about panasonic, and the gh5 supposedly has the capability for 6k video, I think the footage from that brand has looked really good in the past, however, it seems like sony is going to get the majority of the support from thrid party companies in the future.
I still only have canon lenses that I've been using with a metabones 4 adapter for the past 3-4 years and it works perfectly fine for video purposes if you don't want AF on your video.
