Because people are tired of hearing about how amazing Sony is at everything. There were multiple threads about the bloody A9 on here when it was announced, and most of them hit their bump limit.

It's already been noted in Tony and Chelsea's hands on that the A9 is worse at pure technical image quality than the A7 series and, most likely then, the D800 line as well. So it's not surprising if it's having shadow banding issues if it was really optimized for higher ISO's for action photography.

Most reviewers seemed to have thought it was a pretty good first attempt at a mirrorless pro-body.

It's the personality type. Sony attracts faux intellectuals. People who have some attributes of an intellectual but are more ego than substance. They go looking beyond canikon thinking they'll find a wiser choice than what the mainstream uses, but they don't actually have the mental acuity to wisely consider all the factors.
