desu you have to be pretty aggressive, maybe even in a nice way though. One of the most famous photos was staged, that one of the lovers kissing in paris, a few were really.

this is right. some of the "nice" assholes is martin parr, he goes in front of you flashes the shit out of your face while you try to eat a hot dog and he tells you in his uber english accent "OW UR SUCH A LOUVLY LAYDAY I JUST HAD TO TAKE THAT PHOWROW", when in fact he photographed you because youre the gaudiest looking human in his area.
