>>3118890Thanks, you're going to love it. Just shoot as much as possible and always be very critical of your own work. Always look for things you could have done better. That's really the best way to improve.
>>3119121That was a happy little accident.
>>3120547Thanks. The digital shot was on my GR and the other one was on an old Minolta SLR with Portra. If I was buying film in Tokyo though I'd skip Kodak in favor of Fujifilm. Much cheaper and their pro line is great.
>>3120659Thanks. Ahhhh I don't think I can pick a favorite. I generally try to think of my images in the context of being viewed as a set, not so much individually. If we're talking like, in terms of how successful I was at executing what I wanted to get out of the image, probably this one
>>3096833. I'm also a fan of
>>3096846 as the scene sort of reminded me of something out of the movie The Mourning Forest and I like how it turned out. I think
>>3096837 has nice framing as well.
I have to let these sort of settle in so I can view them more objectively. They're still too new to me. In a few months I'll go back to make a few prints and we'll see which ones I end up going with and which ones, if any, end up on my wall.
>>3120944Thanks anon. I was there for the first two weeks in May. I generally prefer overcast/rainy weather for photography anyway so it worked out for me.
>>3120979Yeah for sure, although maybe closer to like 1980 and 2030. It's like future tech superimposed into a 1980s society.
>>3121011Thanks, I like that one too.
