I know George and his mates lurk here, sometimes asking for feedback on the show, sometimes it is negative (lel).
Anyway, probably the best photography youtuber there is because he really puts in the effort in all of his videos. The rest are patchy at best, here is a run down:
- Matt Day, boring AF mumbling about how Leicas are the be all end all camera. Trash.
- Art of Photography, nuggets of gold here and there, but mostly mumbling about nothing to hit that 10 min mark.
- Thomas Heaton. The best landscape photographer on youtube hands down, also a fairly chill dude.
- OP's Spanish hipster, he is a guy that gets me really excited when I see the camera he'll be reviewing, then I realise it's a fat load of nothing, and it's the same boring format each video. Honestly, that last X-pan video really got me going, but it was just hollow and empty.
- Northrups. Total joke of a channel, shills shilling their shilliest shit. They have one or two good tutorials though.
- Angry Photographer. If you hate photography, and love to listen to a mentally disturbed fat guy wank over camera gear, without a taking a single photo, look no further. Absolute bottom of the barrel in terms of creativity, epitomises the worst in photography. As much as I love Fuji, he takes it overboard.
- VanDan - French dude, actually good, great for inspo and the sort, recommended.
- ForesthillFilmLab, another mumbly guy, but he has some useful tips and opinions about film stuff. He's ok.
- Kai W, also OK, he's a bit of a tool, but gives good advice
- TheCameraStoreTV, very good channel, solid advice and opinions on cameras.
Everything else is dogshit honestly. Maybe there are a few very small channels I'm not aware about, but the large swathes of people either doing nothing new, or its some pretentious hipster couple (plant based traveller) making a pretentiously colour graded video about fuck all, or it's just some fag mumbling about his experience.
