So to speak, I think you are into a certain palette or style, which maybe even accounts for no bokeh or simplicity. The Egglestone for example is warmly tinted, where no color appears pure or crisp. Especially cold colors aren't neither saturated nor prominent. It's the muddy color palette which is apparent.
