Are pentax K1000's worth the 80 Canuck bucks? Thinking of getting one as my first film camera. The light sensor is in "great condition" if that makes a difference.

Decent price.

Good starter camera. With service from time to time, it'll last forever. Lenses are common, and fairly cheap.

Met a girl one time at a party with it tattoo'd on her and we chatted cameras, was nice. Then the cops came. Lifes weird sometimes.

I got one when I started shooting film.Its a great camera, very sturdy and reliable.The only thing I don't like about is is the weigh, one you have been shooting for more than an hour with it it starts to get uncomfortable.If you haven't bought it yet I would recommend the MX.Pretty much same camera (all mechanical) but smaller and less heavy.
