Ex, I took about 900 pix over 10 daya on my last vacation - lot's of panoramas etc, but still a fuckton. I think I got maybe 1 actual real keeper from that set, and maybe 5-10 "OK" ones that I'd consider posting if I'd want to make a thread here on 4chan.
But it also has a lot to do with how/when/where I'm photographing: when I'm on vacation, I just snap away at everything "just in case", because there either won't be a 2nd opportunity, or I'm with others which means limited time doing photo stuffs. In contrast, when I do actual photo trips alone, and can just concentrate on the picture taking, my keeper ratio goes way up as the need for spam goes down and I overall have a much more methodological approach to my shooting. Still tonnes of blanks of course, but that's also just the nature of the game.
