$1000 CND is not a resell price, that's about relate.
If you came into my store trying to sell this i would give you $200 maybe 300 CND tops for it because I need at the very least 100% mark up on used in order to make the risk of outright buying something and a 30day warranty viable. Put a sticker price of $1000 on it and hope to get $800. To consign I take 30% of the final sale price but they are sold without a warranty.
the problem is that only collectors are going to buy or sell this type of camera and they all know the asking price of these is around a grand, so they are all looking for the "deal" by getting one for around 7-800. The only you are making money at this OP is if you find someone who is desperate to complete their collection.
