Sony are the ultimate in consumer oriented company, they make sensors for both the cameras you've shortlisted, they've made their mount an open format so anyone can make fully functional lenses, they've been heavily adopted by cine so will be around forever.
If you're sad that sony make videogames, then comfort yourself with the fact that fuji generates most of it's income from cosmetics and olympus control 70% of the world endoscope market. Would you rather wear asian makeup, shove things up your butt or have a ps4?
