ive been doing a lot of research on sRGB and AdobeRGB and i'm still really confused on what i should be using and how i should be using it.

this all started when i noticed that my pictures seemed to be losing a lot of saturation when transferring them to my phone and uploading to instagram, which i assume is happening because i'm shooting in adobeRGB

I would simply use sRGB but i also like to print my own photos at home.
i saw some videos online saying that i should only be shooting in adobeRGB if i had a printer that was capable of it. I then did more research and found people saying that there is not such thing as an adobeRGB printer and that they use CMYK which left me even more confused.

tl;dr I don't want to use sRGB if it means i'm gonna lose color detail in my prints, but i'm not sure if its even making a difference. Help me out here??
