>>3152219>Evf in the sonys is larger than every ff dslr except the 1dxiiAnd the viewfinder in my x-t2 is larger than the 1dxii ovf, so what.
>Sony lag is 23/1000 of a second, 10 times faster than very good human reaction timesIn optimal conditions. In real world there's always lag because the signal has to go through all sorts of processing. There's no lag with ovf.
>Clarity is dependent on the ground glass, your vision and the quality of the diopter, dynamic range I more relevant as it shows what the sensor sees, not what your subjective, variable eyes seeNo, the evf only gives an estimate what the sensor sees, because it CAN NOT reproduce the whole sensor readout data. It is not possible with current technology. In hard contrast situations evf shows mostly over and under exposed silhouettes, and with polarized sunglasses the evf is useless. When you learn to guesstimate exposure just by the eye and learn how your camera works, you don't need previews of your shots.
>Changing the ground glass for one that works at f2 instead of f2.8, also involves using ground glass that's a stop darker. Why make these compromises when an evf works with all apertures in all light conditions?I see haven't heard of a split prism. In dark evf only shows laggy noise though and the glow destroys your eyes dark vision so you see nothing. When my eyes adjust to dark I can see pretty well in conditions where I'd still be taking photos, never had an issue with this.
>Thanks for showing up your agenda and lack of logical thought though. My only agenda is to make you newfag little fanboys understand that while evf is wonderful in many situations, there's still some areas where ovf wins hands down. But thanks for gearfagging and showing your lack of actual photography experience.
