Where did it all go so wrong, /p/?

Why didn't m43 manufacturers reinvest their RnD gains into larger sensor sizes as they realized they were hitting the wall? Why did they let this dead platform deprecate instead of going full frame?


It's just a fucking terrible platform for misguided new consumers that don't understand the horrible noise, low resolution, and terrible dynamic range they're in for. How can they even compete? Can they compete?
