I haven't learned exactly why the house burned down, but other house fires in the area have been caused by drug lab related mishaps or arson.
I don't have much of a story about this one. I saw the cloud of smoke from a distance and I drove over as fast as I could. I arrived before any firefighters or police could get there. The owners were running all over the place, they were so scared but there was nothing that could be done. The fire itself was massive, the entire property was on fire. While I was taking photos I just felt so overwhelmed by it all, I paused for a moment to process it. I looked up and the cloud above me was huge. I could hear a little boy crying from a porch. And the fire was spreading to another home, up lightposts, and into vehicles.
