The point is, don't be hipster unless you want photos to come out a specific way. Like, "well, i want a polaroid instant camera from the 80s or whatever". But the point is, there needs to be a good reason that isn't cause "i like the way it looks". So like, no and get something else.

This is literally the foundational principle of visual art. It is 100% a sufficient reason for any artistic choice in photography.

since ive been using my large format camera, ive acknowledged how much of an useful feature is the revolving back. if youre thinking of getting a studio camera, thats a feature you def want. so yeah, yay film. go for it.

He never called the RB67 a large format camera.
Many large format cameras have revolving backs, which are a super nice feature, and I guess he meant that it would be nice to have on the RB as well.

The lack of a rotating back on my GS-1 is a pain in the ass if I'm using the WLF on it. Fuck having to look into a WLF sideways while trying to compose and focus.
